Hello I have a multilingual website (https://www.rexisrael.com ) with the magazine theme. I am considering buying your paid version because I do like the theme and has been performing well so far. However, I found that one of the articles doesnt display after you click the “read more” button.

In other cases the “read more” button doesnt appear at all, even though the excerpt is there.

    Please help me

    Hi Rexisrael7,

thanks for using MH Newsdesk lite.

It seems you only have one article on your website (at least on your front page) and for us the “read more” button for that article works just fine. That means we’re not really sure what exactly you’re referring to.

In case you see something else in your browser, then please clear your browser cache and the cache from your caching plugin because your site currently is cached as well.

In general, if you have the feeling that something isn’t working as it should, then please do some troubleshooting (disable plugins, etc…) on your website to find the culprit: Troubleshooting in WordPress.

    Hello

Thank you for your fast response.

However the problem is not yet resolved. Let me try to be more specific

    In this URL: https://www.rexisrael.com/en/movie-reviews/

When I click on the “read more button”, it redirects to the same page, so it is not working properly

I will go over the article you share but maybe you can help with this issue.

I have tried to delete the funcionality of “read more” in order to quickly fix this,… but I have not found how to do it, maybe you can help me with that alternative solution

    Sincerely

The “read more” button on the provided URL leads to the category archive itself, which definitely isn’t normal of course. However, please keep in mind that these permalinks are handled by WordPress itself and this isn’t a theme issue.

Please disable your plugins (and clear your cache) as instructed in the previous reply and check again. In addition you may want to check the configuration of your permalinks as there could be an issue with your permalinks as well.

Apart from that, there isn’t really anything else we can tell you about this. You must be running something on your site that is messing up the permalinks. Other users don’t have such issues and you can also check the theme demo where it is working fine as well.

Thank you for your fast response. It’s good to have less possible paths to resolve this issue.
