"Read More" button missing from Blog pages

  • I lost the “Read More” button from my posts. When I created a blog-template page, the posts don’t show the read more buttons; they are replaced with text “more…” links.

    I used the wordpress read more button within Tiny MCE and this has always worked for me before…

  • You probably need to edit your theme’s template files and replace <?php the_excerpt();?> with <?php the_content();?>.
