Read More always displayed

Hi,
Love this plugin. I’m running into one problem. The ‘read more’ link is used for all posts regardless of post size. For example, if I have a post with only a title and no content, it still shows the ‘read more’ link. Any way to fix this. Please advise. Thanks so much.
