READ FIRST BEFORE BUYING PRO, HONEST REVIEW ABOUT THIS PLUGIN

So you own a company that makes a plugin for maps! must be epic, must be incredible as it’s so niche, actually no. You would think that but it has to be one of the most basic of plugins created with very little thought on UX and the end goals of the user, coz very few of these are answered.
Fundamentally there are so many things missing from this plugin it’s insane, truly boggles the mind. ??
Here’s a list.
1. You should be able to easily create map route itineraries, you can’t, this seems crazy as getting from A-B is the whole basis of a map. If you want to do a route itinerary, you have to drop markers and then use a line drawing tool, basically spending hours tracing the road you are suggesting people take. It’s a complete waste of time. To be fair I have noticed most of these plugins are the same, must be something to do with Google not letting them, or maybe they all just don’t get the point of why people use maps…
2. They offer a legend function but there is no way of organising it. so for example, if you want to do 1-14 days on a trip in the Legend, day 10 conveniently comes straight after day 1. I mean come on!!!!
3. The documentation is subpar at best, it’s short, not descriptive and also outdated, all the images obviously relate to previous versions and menu sections have been moved since then. I mean you have to worry when they really don’t care if they look unprofessional. I would be embarrassed to work for them. Really quite amateur.
4. It’s a clunky process to drop markers, it would be reasonable to expect a copy and past function for dropping multiple markers next to each other but you have to go through the whole process every time.
5. Don’t even start me on the polyline tool, If I wasn’t bald I would be after pulling my hair out with this thing.
6. Plugin functionality has conflicts with Divi straight (the largest Theme builder for WordPress) out of the box. You have to work with the biggest theme providers, is it unreasonable to 1. check you plugin works?! 2. Fix the issues. 3. Have documentation in an obvious spot as opposed to making customers dig around in a forum to see if you have had the question asked before.
This plugin has a long way to go before it can call itself a map plugin. They should go back to their desk, and remap the route.
