Read counter via API ?

Hello Team,
i use to build newsapp using wp-json V2 for as a provider.
Still i have an issue about post read,
while having users reading from the app, it seems like neither wordpress nor jetpack can update the post view stats.
So, i wonder if there’s some endpoint that can be used for.
