Hej! Thank you for your great work! I love, that ActivityPub now supports reactions. But they don’t show up on my blog.

I added the Fediverse Reactions block between the “Follow me” block and the comments. But nothing shows up.

There are some likes and a repost on the linked articles. They show up, when I use the Webmentions plugin. But they don’t show up in the ActivityPub block. Even if Webmentions is disabled.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Hi Steffen! Could you double-check if you’re on the latest version of the plugin? There was a fix for an errand script dependency that was shipped with 4.5.1., that’s supposed to mitigate that.

I just updated it to 4.6, emptied all caches – no change.

Sorry, I got that one wrong. Looks like the API call to fetch reactions is not working, it’s missing the /wp-json prefix. I wonder if there’s a conflict with the script concatenation to where it doesn’t pick up the createRootURLMiddleware in wp.apiFetch?

    https://kaffeeringe.de/wp-json/activitypub/1.0/posts/11471/reactions loads them correctly.

@kaffeeringe it might be Autoptimize, that breaks our scripts.

Can you try adding activitypub to the “Exclude scripts from Autoptimize” list and uncheck “Minify excluded CSS and JS files?” to see if it then works?

pro-tip; you can usually also disable Autoptimize on a per-request basis by adding ?ao_noptirocket=1 to the URL.

if the problem is not there at that point, some autoptimize (re-)configuration might be needed to fix this. there are troubleshooting tips and info on how to exclude in the AO FAQ.

    hope this helps debugging,

    I disabled Autoptimize.

Now it is being shown. But not correctly and I guess it has to do with the content security policy. I don’t know, where that comes from.

It works when I disable all kinds of cache. Autoptimize, W3 Total Cache, WebpExpress and, funny, AntispamBee

External images of any kind seem to be a problem with caching.
