reached the maximum number of files

    Hi!
    I received a message from my host that I had reached the maximum number of files. (Not memory but number of files). Now I saw that there are millions of files in my wp-content/litespeed/avatar folder. Which setting did I set incorrectly?

    does your site have a lot of users ?

    if the avatar created too much , please disable in Page Optm -> Localization -> Gravatar Cache and purge all gravatar cache.

    Many thanks for your response. Yes, that’s right, I have a lot of users. I disabled and cleared the Gravatar cache. It works!

    However, I can observe that 20k new files are added every hour. What could that be about?

    even with gravatar cache disabled ? which directory you got 20k files ?
