Reach the first field with a shortcut

Are you trying to navigate to the first form field of the form? If yes, you can add a button/ link to the page and set the redirection as https://naturalstone.ch/intern/offertanfrage/#wpforms-2199-field_16-container — Here 2199 is the form ID and the 16 is first form field in the same form.

Today I tried again to jump to the first field in the form. It worked then, but now it doesn’t work anymore.
https://naturalstone.ch/intern/offertanfrage/#wpforms-2199-field_16-container
should be the first field in the form.

I have another example with the link:
https://naturalstone.ch/formtest/#wpforms-5325-field_1-container
The first field has the ID 1.

What am I doing wrong? The cursor is not in the first field of the form.

Could you please confirm if the above-mentioned issue has been marked as resolved by you?

And if you are trying to auto focus the form fields, you can achieve that using this custom code.

Thank you for your answer. But why does the solution you mentioned no longer work 2 months and 1 week ago? The link would be much easier to access the fields.

Sorry about the confusion in my previous response. However, when I try to access the links, the anchoring works for me as the page goes to the respective section of the form that is specified in the ID.

If the issue still persists for you when compared to the above screencast, I’d recommend you clear your web browser’s cache and see if you are seeing the same behavior.

Or, if you are seeing the same behavior and expecting an autofocus feature, then please know that it would require customization.
