Re-sizing Widget Areas

  • I know that all the 3 widget area’s in my responsive theme have a width of 300 px. The problem is I am unable to re-size them as per my wish after finding them on the sidebar-home.php file.

    I even deleted widget 2 and tried to re-size widget area 1 to make it wider but that dropped widget area 3 below widget area 1 and messed up my site.

    Somebody please help me as I tried looking everywhere but could not find an answer.
