Re-register existing media files

    Hi,

    I am looking to refresh some of my existing images with better quality ones (higher resolution) in media library (approx. 2500 files). Is there a way to re-scan the library and update the metadata to reflect the new resolution? File names and IDs stay the same, the only thing that changes is the image resolution. The new resolution will be 1920×1080, the existing one varies for different image?files therefore difficult to identify.

    Use the plugin “enable media replace” to upload images what will replace images of the same naem.

    Thanks Steven,

    I didn’t consider manual update due to a large number of files but Fix Media Library plugin did the job.
