Re-order existing attributes

    Hi,

    I need to re-order existing attributes and I don’t know how.

    Attention: I talk about the attributes, not the terms within the attributes. I know, that the terms could be reordered via drag and drop.

    But how about the attributes theirselfs?

    The order of the attributes is alphabetical and there is no option to re-order the attributes via drag & drop like it is with the attribute terms.

    These order determines the order of the attributes in the tab “additional Information” on the product page.

    I need to have f. e. the attribute “Bio” as the lowest Attribute in the “additional Information” tab.

    I know, that I can change the order of attributes on product Level for each product, but this is not practical, because I have to manage hundreds of products.

    So, I′m looking for a global way to re-order the attributes, so that the new order is taken over to all product and their “additional Information” Tabs.

    BTW: I′ve never understood, why there is no drag and drop way like for the Attribute Terms.

    Thank you for the further information. The order of the global attributes does not constitute what the order of the attributes will be on the products themselves. You can have attributes in ABC order like this:

    Ad when you add them in A-C-B order within the products, they will stay in that order:

    If you are looking to bulk edit your current attributes so they are in a different order, you can export your products with the core exporter, then make the changes in the CSV file, then merge the CSV back. Now it will show A-B-C
