re-open after "back"

Using this on a client site, and they’ve requested adding functionality to allow specific accordion items to remain open if the user goes back to the page after clicking a link from the page. I’m on a slightly older version of the plugin (2.2.5), and I’m wondering if this is functionality is in the next version, or planned for a future version. (Otherwise we’ll probably need to hire a 3rd-party programmer to add this for our site)
