Re – installing WordPress

Did you delete the plugin? IF so, how? You do not have to reinstall WordPress.

I deleted the plugin by going to php admin and trashed the plugin in the
plugins folder. I also made a backup of my site. Do I need to re-install the
back up. How to do, would be helpful.

Did you DEACTIVATE the plugin before deleting it?

I believe I de-activated it, I can’t remember!

It sure looks to me like you’re no longer an administrator. Do you have a backup of the database from before this happened? If so, I’d try restoring that rather than messing with files.

I did the back up after I deleted the plugin.
I don’t have a back up of work done before that.
Any suggestions would be helpful.
