Re-enable Woo API

How do I re-enable the WooCommerce API? It was working, and apparently stopped after some changes made a few days ago. I have reverted those changes, but the API is still disabled. Details:
- The API is shown on the plugin page (Settings> Advanced> REST API). As you know, the only option is to revoke it–that is, there is no indication it is disabled or a way to re-enable.
- The “Status” page in the plugin shows, on the “Settings? API enabled” row, a dash instead of a check mark (which the Woo documentation suggests should be there).
- The “/wc-api/v1/” test I found in the documentation returns a message that the API is disabled.
Perhaps I missed it, but I can’t find anything in the forum or docs about how to re-enable it.
