Re-direct not working..automatically directs to “my account” page

I installed it and set it up but it still automatically takes the user upon login to the “my account” page instead of the url i set up for that specific user to be re-directed to? I watched youtube video if the plugin and did it the same way, but it isn’t working correctly? not sure if another plugin installed is conflicting with it or maybe a default setting i need to change in the dashboard?
