    Every time I change the backup settings I get a note that I need to reauthenticate the dropbox account. How do I fix that?

    Hi Michael,

    Please can you confirm what UD version you are running?

    Can you also please reload the settings page and confirm that it still happens? (It was possible for this to happen on older versions before we introduced a check that the settings page belonged to the current version – e.g. people who update the plugin and don’t refresh the settings page before saving).

    If it still recurs, after re-authenticating and then saving, please can you go to the ‘Advanced Tools’ tab, and in the ‘Site information’ section click on the ‘Show raw backup and file list’ link (scroll down a bit), and then within the window that appears, scroll down and find ‘updraft_dropbox’ and then paste for us the entry it shows? Then, after re-authenticating again, do the same, and send us the updated entry. In both cases, if it includes tokens in the output, change them, as these give access to your UD folder in Dropbox (e.g. replace half of the token bits with (snip)).

    1. Version: 2.13.1.1

    2. I have reloaded, it still happens. I have closed the browser (chrome) and logged out of the website, and none of this resolved the issue

    3.
    Authenticated, then Save:
    updraft_dropbox Array ( [version] => 1 [settings] => Array ( [s-updraft_dropbox Array ( [version] => 1 [settings] => Array ( [s-d8b68c11ad0eccd184d7e95b1761917a] => Array ( [appkey] => [secret] => [folder] => [tk_access_token] => 0 [ownername] => Ghaleb Ismail [CSRF] => ) ) )
    updraft_dropboxtk_access_token
    updraft_dropboxtk_request_token

    Authenticated again after save:
    updraft_dropbox Array ( [version] => 1 [settings] => Array ( [s-d8b68c11ad0eccd184d7e95b1761917a] => Array ( [appkey] => [secret] => [folder] => [tk_access_token] => T42lydmVcPAtOs+NHNoD0fyQGqFoXYJNq32QlMQHcIdTZzsP4kgyxm0k526bx+vw/UFUM+m9W3ZooAdKazO5C8U*********************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************SYyYFu2gU3udFq3H3EviiVwTVfSKzoO9JvA== [ownername] => Michael ****** [CSRF] => ) ) )
    updraft_dropboxtk_access_token
    updraft_dropboxtk_request_token

    Hi Michael,

    Sorry for the delay, can you confirm if your using a custom Dropbox app or not? also have you tried this with another remote storage option that needs authentication such as Google Drive? and does the same thing happen?

    Best Wishes,

    Ashley

    Sorry for late response.
    It is only dropbox, google drive seems to be fine

    I also have this issue. Running the latest paid version of Updraft – I just thought it was a necessary part of the procedure, albeit an annoying one.

    @michael1408 Does the problem persist if you use the ‘Wipe Settings’ button in the ‘Advanced Tools’ tab, set your settings afresh (including authenticating), and then see if it happens after that?

    Yes, it still persists even after a wipe

    Hi Michael,

    Since we don’t have any other reports of the issue, we don’t know what could be causing it… if you can let us log in on your site, then we can take a look… if that’s workable, let me know, and I can send you an email address to send the credentials to.
