• I wonder if there’s any way to reassign the post ids? When I imported all my Greymatter posts into WordPress it worked just fine but I had some posts from before I even used Greymatter and imported them into WordPress by hand. This led to post 165 being from 2004-09-07 while post 166 is from 2002-12-03 . Obviously I’d like to have the post ids assigned chronologically. I’d imagine this shouldn’t be all that difficult, but I know next to nothing when it comes to these things, so I’m hoping someone here can help me out?
    TIA,
    Andr??

  • The post id is essentially an internal thing. I dont’ think it really matters if it is chronoligical or not, does it?
You could easily use phyMyAdmin to change the post id’s, but then you might end up breaking some of the links.

Hmm… ok then. I’ll have a go at setting up a permalink structure. I’ll blame you though if I can’t get it to work ??
