    Hello,

    About “Enhancement: Re-add lossless compression option (#686)”, did you backtrack? your IA in 2.0 is a failure? Give more information about that please.

    We have removed compression levels in v2.0 and introduced the Smart compression as the only option for Bulk optimization. The Lossless compression level was available but only for individual compression.

    However, we have added Lossless option in v2.1 so it could be used as default optimization level and be used in the Bulk optimization as well.

    I set Lossless in settings but when I go into the media library and bulk optimize, it doesn’t apply to all. Some images still have the smart level compression but labeled with the “Well done, your image is already optimized…” So they’re not touched.


    Please add force re-optimize when bulk optimizing without skipping images. Also “Re-optimize Lossless” / “Re-optimize Smart ” to the bulk edit settings would be a good and more clear option.
