Re-Add Insert Image button

  • Please add the Insert Image button that existed in 2.5. I know there’s the Insert Media for photo, but I want the old Insert Image button back.

    The Insert Media Photo option doesn’t remember previous entries and I have to keep entering https://www.domain.com/folder/folder/file01.format. With the old insert image, it’d remember previous entries and I could easily just select a previous entry and just modify the 01 to be 02, 03, 04, etc…

    Removing this insert image button has made it extremely tedious and annoying for me to write how to articles on my site which contain many images. Please re-consider the removal and please add the button back.

  • I must agree, the photo handling options in 2.6 have made things more difficult and in some cases simply do not work. Something as seemingly small as that button might give me extra flexibility to work around problems.

    I’ve just upgraded and discovered that my favourite ‘insert image’ button no longer exists.

    It’s a real pain in the ass; so please add the button back into the toolbar for those of us who want to continue to use it. Thanks.
