    Hi,

I am considering your plugin and wonder whether I can make it work with Login by Auth0 plugin? Auth0 replaces the default WordPress login flow.

Will RCP continue to function normally if I replace the RCP default registration and login forms with those provided by Auth0?

    Kind regards,

  • Hi @backpackingseries ,

Just to confirm, are you asking about our free “Restrict Content” plugin, or our pro version?

Restrict Content will still function perfectly fine if you replace the login and registration. Our plugin uses the login/account system built into WordPress core, which means as long as whatever you’re using is also compatible with WordPress core’s expectations (creating an account, setting roles, etc.), then Restrict Content will function just fine!

    Thank you @nosegraze

Yes, I meant to ask for Restrict Content Pro. Will that work too?

    Kind regards,

It will work fine to replace the login form. For registration, customers will still need to go through Restrict Content Pro’s registration form in order to get the membership. This might mean a two-step process (register through Auth0 to get an account, then register through RCP to get the membership).

If you have further questions about a Restrict Content Pro integration then please get in touch with us via our support channel here: https://restrictcontentpro.com/support/ This forum is only for supporting the free version and we’re not allowed to provide support for the Pro one here.

    Thanks!

Thank you so much and I’ll write to Pro support for possible further queries.
