My backup site has an old PHP so I’ve upgraded the live one ??
    RC1 went fine.
    RC2 crashed.
The site is working ok but on login I only get 500 server internal error…
I do not have access to server log files.
Very strange, difference from RC1/RC2 must be very minimal.
    I forgot to disable plugins….
Ok, now I will test the automatic restore of my site….

I do not have access to server log files.

That’s a problem. You really shouldn’t be testing versions if you can get in there.

Remember to try renaming your .htaccess to old.htaccess and see if that helps.

Restore from my ISP very good.
I did it again, same result and I remember about the old problems of file permissions.

I forgot about it because RC1 did not trigger it.
RC2 left some files not at 755 perms…

i should put back chmod 755 in the config.php…..

That’s a VERY server specific error, then. Are you saying you need to have wp-config.php set to 755 or something else? This is important for us to know ??
