    Hi,

Have searched in the forum for a similar issue, but failed to find anything.

I wanted to know if, when using the pipe function of Contact Form 7, there is a way to make Conditional Fields plugin consider the raw value of a field. I have tried adding the “_raw_” snippet via text mode ([_raw_fieldName] instead of [fieldName]), but the plugin won’t recognise that syntax, it acts as if the field didn’t existed.

The long, more detailed version is that I’m building a form in which the recipient depends on an option from a radio button field. So I make use of the pipe function, as in “Option|Name <email@address>”. But I happen to have an “Other(s)” option and I need to have a text field appear if that option is selected, so I use the Conditional Fields plugin to achieve that. But the plugin, as expected, takes the value that is after the pipe (Name <email@address>). I need that value in the “To” field, but I need the raw value that is before the pipe (Option) to be considered by the plugin. The thing is that most of the options corresponds to the same recipient, is a just a few of the options that requieres e-mail to be sent to a different person. But grouping options by recipient is not allowed as users must be able to select one of those options independently for business reasons.

    Thank you!
