Ratings stats do not show with only one rating

No, that is not the default behaviour. Are you using a caching plugin or something? I can’t reproduce this problem on my site.

Does it happen to all posts or only one post? Can you show me a screenshot of the postratings options page?

Does it work with the default 5 stars rating.

There are 3 votes, and the average score is 0.33 and there are a total of 9 stars.

I am assuming those ratings have been rated before you changed to 9 stars.

It is quite possible the rating occurred before the 1-9 settings were in place. How best to test that theory w/o interfering with the site. Fake post?

The theory is correct. Calculations appear normal on new posts. Is there a way to apply these retroactively?

Sorry, nope. You have to go and edit the post custom meta field value (ratings_user, ratings_score and ratings_average) and change it to 0. Then you need to go empty the rating logs.

However, those user who have already rated will not be able to rate again because there is a cookie on the user’s computer that indicate they have rated
