Ratings/Stars not showing on imported Recipes from EasyRecipe

  • I am trying to import recipes from EasyRecipe plugin. On average, so far only 1 rating + stars import in from the blog post comments section. I hesitate to import any more recipes.

    WP ver. 6.3.2
    WPRM ver. 8.10.3 (free – thank you so much!!)
    Genesis ver. 3.4.0
    FoodiePro ver 4.4.0

    I have checked my blog comments settings and comments are allowed and can be viewed in current blog posts. Maybe I missed something?

    Some star votes and some comments are showing for imported recipes. HOWEVER, not all star ratings from comments seem to be importing. I only caught on to my ratings disappearing after it happened twice – I didn’t notice if the missing ratings were from top level or nested comments, if that matters.

    After importing the recipes that I knew had missing comments, I ran the Find Recipe Ratings tool, but I didn’t see the rating come back after refreshing the page.

    Any suggestions?

    That’s strange. Could you try running “Find Parents” first and then “Find Ratings” on the WP Recipe Maker > Tools page?

    Are both rating features enabled on WP Recipe Maker > Settings > Star Ratings page?

    Thanks so much for your response. I really appreciate it.

    I ran “Find Parents” and it was successful. I ran “Find Ratings” and it was successful.

    Only the first rating feature was enabled on the WP Recipe Maker Star Ratings Setting page because the second option said it was for Premium users only, so I ignored it as I’m a free user. I saved that change and then went back to click “Find Parents” and “Find Ratings” again. No change.

    OK, I just disappeared down a rabbit hole … I am not sure the only culprit is WP Recipe Maker — it’s possible that not all of my comments imported when I migrated my site. (insert crazy crying angry emoticon here) !!

    At this point, I hate to waste your time until I figure out where the exact problem starts.
