Can you clarify how the plugin looks up rates from USPS? For example, we use Endicia and have a lower rate. Also, is there any way to add an ‘up-charge’ to the shipping cost returned without displaying to the customer? I did not see it in the plugin config. Finally, do you have any online documentation? Thanks for the help.

Also, I am having an issue with the plugin where it changes to Priority Mail Express shipping. I only have two methods – Priority Mail and Express – and when I try to click on the radio button to change back to Priority Mail, it does not work. Ideas on this as well?

The radio button issue looks like an issue with a third-party plugin or your current theme. You can try temporarily disabling all other plugins and switching to the Storefront theme to see if it helps.

Unless ‘quote regular items by weight’ is checked, the plugin fetches the lowest applicable USPS rate for each item in the cart. The total price shown is the sum of per-item rates for each enabled USPS service.

Do you know of a way to add, say ‘$.50’ to the shipping cost returned by your plugin? I’m happy to put it in Code Snippets if you can get me started with the hook.

FYI – it was an issue with the multiple shipping address plugin – so i used another one and it works.

Thank you for the information about the multiple shipping addresses plugin.

You can start with the following code snippet:
