    Hi,

I’m using Wordfence with optimized firewall (prepend .htaccess and LiteSpeed WEB server).

Trying to use a caching plugin what uses PHP (and NOT mod_rewrite) mode to serve pages, Rate Limiting doesn’t work.

I have tried 3 plugins so far, Comet Cache (php mode), WP Supercache (php mode), Faster Cache (php mode) and Rate Limiting doesn’t work.

Searching here, i see that you say the opposite. Am i missing something?

    Thanks

I would like to add that also when caching is active, the Live Traffic is not displaying all the visits.

    Hi @dimalifragis

If your caching mechanism is serving cached static HTML files for legitimate URL’s for site pages without the need for PHP to be processed then Wordfence Rate Limiting won’t work in that case.

    Hi,

All caching plugins i posted above are using PHP mode. Is that what you mean?

What caching plugins DO work? Can you please tell me. Because all the replies i get here are vague and not easy to understand. Please be clear. This caching works, this doesn’t work. Because i haven’t found one that works.

Can i have please some reply on what PHP caching plugins work with Wordfence and the issue of rate limiting and live traffic issue i posted?

Please provide ANY caching plugin that works right with Wordfence.

    Thank you

All caching plugins should have the same effect as they serve cached copies of static HTML files for site pages so that PHP and a database connection doesn’t have to be run so that site pages can be served much faster.

So, NO caching plugins with Wordfence, as i understand.

    Hi @dimalifragis

    That is correct.
