Rankmath redirect product-category issue

    hi
    i previously use category in my site like this:
    https://site.com.com/product-category/main-category/first-cat/secound-cat/
    then i enable remova category base and remove category parent slug from rankmath setting.
    but now i have issue with URL’s that contains product-category.

    Now my URL’s must redirect to Addresses that haven’t product-category and parent slug too, like this(for top url EXP):
    https://site.com.com/secound-cat/
    but redirected to this:
    https://site.com.com/main-category/first-cat/secound-cat/

    how can i fix it?
    I’m checked anything like server cache, browser cache, create new htaccess, Re-save category pages and rankmath redirection.

    I use your plugin and now I turn on remove category parent in rank math

    when I click on my url in google ,they are like this :

    https://www.markazbargh.com/product-category/peneumatic/pneumatic-cylinder/

    but when I click on them in my website it works correct and its like this :

    https://www.markazbargh.com/product-category/pneumatic-cylinder/

    now i wanna know why it doesn’t redirect it from https://www.markazbargh.com/product-category/peneumatic/pneumatic-cylinder/ to https://www.markazbargh.com/product-category/pneumatic-cylinder/

    because I think the correct way is when i click on my links redirect to remove parent form

    I mean it works without redirect old urls.

    it only remove some part of url as I write but when you click on your link at google search result you see non remove urls. and then you click on your links for example in menu you see short type for same url

    Hello @davod473,

    We can check that the URL with the parent category is getting redirected to the correct version even when visiting from Google Search. You should wait for Google to recrawl the URLs and once they detect the redirection, they will deindex the old version and index the current version.

    i redirect them manually by my self.

    Another thing can i ask you to add comment box for product category .

    Also add brand category to your plugin?

    i have same problem too after activate remove category base?and?remove category parent slug?from rankmath setting.
    my category page that are first rank on google some of them redirect to home page and some of them redirect to random product page
    do you have any idea many of rankmath user has this problem!

    Hello @modernite,

    Please share some of the affected URLs so we can check and assist you further. Also, the redirection after removing the base and parent slug should be managed by WordPress’ template redirect. If that isn’t working on your site, then you will have to create the redirection rules manually.
