    Hello,

I’ve stumbled upon a strange issue. If I create a Page within WordPress and then edit it with Divi – RankMath works somewhat ok and recognizes most of the stuff on the Page and gives pretty good guidance on what to improve.

However, if I create a Page but give it a Template via the Divi Theme Builder, then RankMath recognizes nothing on the Page, to the point where it says that there are 0 words on it, no H tags, etc.

How to make RankMath work with the Divi Theme Builder or will it never simply be compatible?

    Hello @wphelpreq,

    Thank you for contacting support.

Our Content Analysis API runs on the content of the page and any data that you add to any given page via templates is not actually part of the content field in the database so the tests won’t recognize it.

This is the default behavior and it’s the same for any method similar to this on any other page builders.

Hope this helps clarify your doubts.

    Hello @rankmathteam,

So, in other words – Rank Math does not work with the Divi Theme Builder? Anything created through the Divi Theme Builder will not be recognized by Rank Math?

    Hello @wphelpreq,

The Content Analysis API won’t run on the Theme Builder, but those templates are then used on your pages and posts, and that’s where our API works and gives you the chance to improve the on-page SEO.

Besides, all the other functions, such as meta tags generation, will still work without any issues, and if you load the page directly and check the source code, you’ll see our plugin generating those.

    Hi @rankmathteam,

But you can create an entire Page within the Theme Builder, without ever having to actually edit the Page within the standard WordPress menu. You can create Page “X”, and then use the Theme Builder to create a Header/Body/Footer for that page.

Would it be possible to implement the Rank Math symbol within the Theme Builder to have it analyze the body content while working on it? The same is possible when editing a Page as of right now.

    Hello @wphelpreq ,

Since the pages from the Theme Builder are not actual pages that are present in the posts table by default, our plugin cannot be attached to them.

For example, the Elementor Templates pages can have Rank Math because they are CPTs, and as such, we can attach our Content Analysis API to those by adding a custom filter.
