Ranking per Matchday

  • I would like to use the plugin for the German Bundesliga. Now I have created all matchdays. How can I now display a ranking per matchday in addition to the ranked ranking?
    We want to give matchday winners.
    Unfortunately, I did not find or overlook anything in the help.

    If you want rankings per match day, you can create custom rankings in the admin and group the required matches in the created ranking. This is all manual work.

    Please note that every added ranking adds to the total calculation time. So, you may consider to copy a match day ranking (top X players) in a post/page when it won’t change anymore and then delete the match day ranking to speed up the calculation.

    But another question. I use the plugin in the Bundesliga / German Soccer League. If I make a group out of the Teams, then I have the table. Is it possible to extend this? Currently only won, lost, draw, displayed. Can one also show goals, etc. in the table?

    The groups page also shows the goals scored. The shortcode or widget might only show the points because of lack of space (these are often used in sidebars). It makes a difference in code between wide and small template.

    But as most parts of the plugin, you can extend the behaviour via filters. Help page has some info to start with and also the first post in the forum has some examples. You’ll have to change the output to use the wide template or make your own template.
    And maybe add some data to the data array if it is not yet there. But for goals I know it is already present.
