Ranking not updating when saving users answers to bonus questions

    Hi there,

    I am creating a quiz site using only the “bonus questions” features of this plugin and so far everything is going well especially thanks to the help you gave me with my last question. However I have come up against another stumbling block, when I give a user a correct answer for a bonus question and then click “save” or “save and close” they do not receive any ranking points.

    I have tried to solve myself by going through the “update_score_history” function but I am having trouble figuring out why it is not working as it is quite a complex function.

    Do you have any ideas of how to solve this?

    Would it have anything to do with the fact that I am not using the “matches” features of the plugin?

    Interesting question ?? I have never used the plugin without matches. I’ll look into it.

    A bonus question is only added to the ranking if the score date is set. Did you check that value?

    Quote from the help page:

    Please note that for points for bonus questions to be added to the total points for a player, an admin also has to fill in the score date field for that question. The score date is used to determine the order in which points are plotted in the charts.

    Perhaps it is a good idea to set the score date to the current date (when it is not yet set) and the admin evaluates the user answers.

    Hadn’t set any scoredates as I am still in the early stages of testing.

    I added the ‘set score date automatically when evaluating user ansers’ functionality to my development version of the plugin.

    And also did some minor improvements of the prediction page when I was testing the plugin without matches. Next release will contain these fixes.
