Ranking Not Displaying

Hey. Replace %ranking% with %position%.
If you have updated from 1.4.x to 1.5, you will also need to re-save all leaderboard widgets as the widget was changes adding you the option to base a leaderboard no longer just on a users balance but also on their history. You can now for example create leaderboard for who has got most points for Commenting or Logging in (assuming you give points for this).

I tried replacing it with %position% and nothing popped up except for the code %position% itself.

Is this the built-in leaderboard widget or are you using a custom leaderboard from a code snippet I have offered online?

Try deleting the widget and then add a brand new one, check your settings (do not change the row template but use the default one and save. If that works, then you can add in your own row template (if you use one and still using %position% instead of %ranking%) and see if that works.

Built-in. I tried deleting and making a new one, same thing happened. It had actually been this way before the update as well, just never asked until now.

Also (off-topic) I just purchased Notifications Plus and noticed that when I set the license key it saved the web address as .com/ instead of just .com Is that ok or do I need to reset it?

Hmmm.

I would start by enabling WP_DEBUG in my wp-config.php file and visit the page where the widget is shown and not working to see if an error is shown.

If no errors are show I would then check if I had added any custom code to the functions.php file of your theme and remove them temporarily to see if this resolves the issue as I can not replicate the issue on 1.5.1.

Re. off-topic. My licensing system will attempt to remove any forward slashes at the end of the URL but if you see an update and your website is not getting a notification then just send me an email and let me know the URL you are having issues with.
