We migrated to Rank Math from Yoast SEO Pro to test out Rank Math. I’m caught up on one error though. When I have Rank Math activated and go to WP Rocket and click “Clear and Preload Cache” it then takes me to a CloudFlare 520 Error Page. There are some screens where clearing a single page works.

Since WP Rocket is on your list of compatible plugins, can you please give me a hand with this issue? If we deactivate Rank Math, the functions works normally without the 520 error. We have tried quite a few things and I want to get this issue resolved before we take a big dive into Rank Math to decide if this is going to be the new WordPress SEO GOAT or not.

This is a pretty common issue if you search the internet.

When the origin host cannot be reached, the CloudFlare 520 error occurs. We believe you should inspect the server access log first.

Also, we would suggest you check the below helpful guides first and also to make sure that you’ve whitelisted Rank Math IPs and REST Routes to Cloudflare:

Hello,

Thank you for the reply. We tried all these things prior to making our post here. It seems we overlooked one plugin, Query Monitor. That plugin was causing the issue with your plugin and WP Rocket’s Clear Cache function. So we disabled Query Monitor and we are all good now.
