    Hi,

    I am keen to move away from Rank Math, mainly for whitle label front end.

    I imported the Rank Math Data, and I picked two options to shorten the product and category URLs the category worked fine but the product still has siteurl/product/product-name.

    With Rank Math it was siteurl/product-name.

    Tried changing it in Permalinks but it will not remove /product/

    Not running any page cache.

    Disabled SEO Press and re-activated Rank Math for now

    Hi,

    With our plugin, you can remove the /category/ and /product-category/ in your permalinks from SEO, Advanced, Advanced tab.

    However, you can’t remove /shop/ from the single product.

    Why? Because this is extremely dangerous! You will probably have a lot of URLs conflicts with the pages post type.

    Indeed, this CPT doesn’t have a prefix, so a product and a page can have the same URL!

    The only way to achieve what you want is to use a dedicated plugin that will handle URL conflicts, automatic redirects and other side effects efficiently.

    We recommend?Permalink Manager, that is officially compatible with SEOPress, and we use it on our site too. You will be able to create custom permastructures without side effects.

    Thanks, as it was not live taking order I decided to just risk the change of URL to /products/

    I would say your concern about duplicate urls has the same risk as removing the /category/?

    Anyway I could really do with some help on this one though.

    I Run Woocommerce + Divi and Use Divi to design the category pages, Rank Maths didn’t have the on page option when editing in theme builder and nor do you but on Dashboard>Products>Categories>store-category Rank Math was there and the site collected the Meta from there. SEOPress is there with the data imported from RM but the site is ignoring it? Is there an option I have missed?
