Rank Math Meta Snippet Issue

    Hi,
    First, thank you for WordFence!

    Yesterday, I was working with Rank Math on my SEO. Rank Math was updated earlier that day. When I went to paste some copy in the Meta Description Snippet, WordFence popped up a dialog…

    ” WordFence Firewall blocked a background request to WordPress for the URL /wp-admin-ajax.php If this occurred as a result of an intentional action, you may consider whitelisting the request to allow it in the future.”

    My WordFence report email logged them as an attack.

    The dialog disappeared before I was able to whitelist and now I am no longer able to do anything at all within my Meta Snippet area. I have tried troubleshooting mode with all plugins disabled except rank math and classic editor, putting WordFence in learning mode and none of those had any effect.

    Please advise

    Hi @tuxmob

    What happens if you manually disable Wordfence too by renaming the plugin folder as follows:

    ~/wp-content/plugins/wordfence-disabled

    I have seen cases where using the WordPress Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin doesn’t fully disable a plugin.
