Randomly selecting posts for display?

  • Hey there,

    I am using a theme called Event, which has a section for Partners that displays a featured image in a slider. I am using the section for Sponsors and am wondering if there is a way to randomly select a different sponsor image each time the page is loaded. Also I would like to make the featured images link to the sponsors external site.

    Any help in achieving these tasks would be greatly appreciated and I will pay it forward the best that I can.
