Randomized ID's? Inline styles? No front-end love.

    So i’m an owner of the paid version (just to clarify that).
    I’m trying to customize some of the front-end code on a parallax gravity landing page and I’m seeing Randomized ID’s every time the page loads? Plus, all of the styles are inline? Tell me this is NOT by design?!

    It is as if someone went out of their way to design this plugin so that someone can not handle any customizations (like background image alignment) using CSS or jQuery.

    Hello rawimg,

    Yes, it’s by design, sections are pretty dynamic, never thought people would want to style a certain section from a certain landing page (outside admin area). Anyway, I’ve checked the code and it seems I can implement static ID’s (will be dynamically created but won’t change – unless you remove the section).

    I will implement this on Moday for both Lite and Pro version.

    I’ve added the static IDs feature for both free and pro version. The Pro version will be available by tomorrow on CC since it needs approval.

    I had purchased through your website – I had downloaded landxallfiles and updated PG – and noticed ID still randomized. Am I missing something or did the update not happen yet on sakuraplugins.com

    Hi,
    I’ve updated it on my website also, please log in and re-download the package. Also please note that I upgraded the pro version to 2.1 since the lite version’s versioning number was to 2.0, WP was automatically upgrading the pro version to the lite version.

    I’m having the same issue… I tried downloading/re-installing 2.1 from Envato where I purchased but am still getting randomized id’s.

    Also – the basecamp styles are over-riding/messing up the styles on the rest of my site. Is it possible to have them load only onto the pages where they are needed?

    I’ve already answered to your email, you must have not got it, the replay was:

    Are you sure you have the latest version? I just download the plugin from CC (just to make sure), I tested it out and the static ID’s are working just fine (they don’t change) – this is how it looks https://share.pho.to/7Uf0z . Once a post is saved each slide has an ID that starts with “gravityslide” followed by a number.
    You can send me a link to your page so I can check it out. I might answer only tomorrow since it’s pretty late here.

    I have updated to 2.1 as well (had purchased from your website in the Landix Package) I can also confirm the same issue as dmy0851 – I am still getting the randomized ID’s.

    Hello,

    Even if you updated, you have to save/update an already created post (landing page) in order the changes to take place. Can you please update/save the existing post and let me know.
