Hello, I noticed that when you add a widget with similar themes – adding a second widget with random ones doesn’t work well.

Similar ones display fine. But random then they are only displayed from the same topics as similar and not completely random topics from the whole page.

Maybe it could be fixed somehow?

If I understand correctly, you mean if you add two widgets with two different styles for the related posts only one works?

    Hello,

yes 1 widget is for similar themes.

and the 2nd widget is supposed to display random topics but it displays random but from similar ones and not random from the whole page.

Please can you give me screenshots as I’m quite confused by the second widget and being random.

Hello, maybe I’ll describe it, because I don’t use 2 pieces – because it works incorrectly.

1 CRP widget – set on similar topics – for example, 10 pieces of similar topics.

2 widget – you set random topics 3. It always displays random topics, but only from the similar ones (i.e. from the list of topics from 1 widget) most matched in random order.

So widget 2 – there are no random topics from the entire page, only random ones from the most similar to the read article in terms of the number of 1 widget.

Ah! I get it now. The reason it doesn’t work is because “random” feature is actually not a totally random post. It’s a shuffling of the related posts so that it looks different on each view in case a person refreshes the page.

That would explain a lot. Maybe it could be done in this add-on so that there was a function not only similar, but also the possibility of completely random ones?

This is often helpful for users and robots. So that there is also some mixing of data in a small range.

That would be a great possibility. It is related to similar and random topics and it would give very useful possibilities.
