Hello, I moved my wordpress site from the test server to the live server. Now there is an error in the upper left corner. In Explorer, it looks like a box. In Firefox, it looks like squished, random letters. I have searched the header file and css and I can’t figure out how to remove the random text/box that is showing up. It wasn’t there on the test site, but now that I made the site live, there is an error. Please help.

Thanks, in advance, for any assistance you can offer ??

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

Thanks for the help! It ended up being a problem in the theme’s site title. Found it with the help of a friend. ??
