    Hi,
This is a cry for help.

After updating recently, I do not know when but it was around 29th July, I am having a very weird bug on my setup.

Products keep randomly showing up in carts. It happens for me (admin) and some customers have also complained about the same.

I have spent 72 hours on this issue. Debugged ALL possible causes. Checked by disabling all plugins. Turned off all caching. It just still persists.

My store sales are getting affected, in an obvious manner.

Yet, I do not have a solution.

I have tried just about everything. I am sleep deprived and I desperately need help. Three things, I have not touched and I cannot due to Live environment :
    1. Woocommerce
    2. Theme
    3. Database

Even if someone tells me how to find this issue, I would apply the patch immediately.

    Hi @bling007,

I’m sorry to hear that you are having trouble with your site after updating WooCommerce.

Could you please share a copy of your site’s System Status to understand how your site is configured? You can find it via WooCommerce > Status.
Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”.? Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your response.

    Thanks

    Hi,
Can we share this info in a non-public forum? I do not mind it.

    So far:
    1. I have tried disabling almost all plugins. Currently, I am running on 25% of them.
    2. Disabled Caching
    3. Disabled Cloudflare
    4. Cleared transients
    5. Cleared Customer sessions
    6. Repaired Database
    7. Googled every possible forum with answer

After 3 days of constant digging, I do not know how to replicate this issue. All I know is, the cart is randomly populated by products in other customer’s cart.

    Hi again,

Sharing the system status report shouldn’t be a problem unless you’ve outdated plugins or themes with vulnerabilities.

Thank you for sharing the information in detail about what you’ve tried so far. Having a look at your system status report some times helps us to point in the right direction.

I would be rather comfortable sharing it on a private forum. The plugin/themes are all up to date. Additionally, I know my way around WordPress, Woocommerce and MySQL queries. So you can guide me on debugging this issue and I can get you whatever it is you wish to obtain.

I believe you must have wanted to know if my theme templates are outdated: They are all compatible with the current WC version.

I use the AUTOMATE WOO plugin, the official by WC to capture and target my customers. I was hoping that the issue was related to this, but it is not. The issue arises in spite of deactivating the AW plugin.

I have been trying to explore the woocommerce_sessions table to see what carts are getting mixed between users. However, it is too difficult to trace and understand this issue. It happens randomly.

Believe me, if I know how to replicate the issue, I would have applied the patch by now.

I am very curious about this SCHEDULED ACTION from ACTION SCHEDULER: wc-admin_import_customers

It goes in loop on trying to import the admin user.

    Hi @bling007,

I can totally understand your concern. If you are using AutomateWoo extension from WooCommerce.com, please contact us at WooCommerce.com > My Account > Tickets. You may need to create an account before you can access that page.

Please include a link to this forum thread, so that we can keep track of what’s already been done.

We will be able to help you further there.

I had done it via their website. I did it via wc.com now.
    System report shared.

One thing that is bothering me is the ACTION SCHEDULER Constantly having the cron to import my user account (ADMIN).

wc-admin_import_customers << just keeps going off in loop to import my user id.
Could this point to the issue?

    Hi there,

We’ll be able to troubleshoot this further in the ticket. I’m going to mark this as resolved – if you have any further questions, you can start a new thread.

I’m having this exact issue. Any idea what resolved it?

    Thread Starter bling007

    (@bling007)

Hi, this issue appears when the user’s sessions are getting mixed. Check if your plugins are using REST-API to maintain user sessions, which was the case for me. If not, then it must be a faulty plugin causing this. You will need to disable them one by one to check – however, it is usually the latest update/plugin activations that are the culprit.

Thank you. Do you remember which plugin was the culprit?

    Thread Starter bling007

    (@bling007)

Yes, I do remember. I am sure you do not run that plugin.
What I do suggest is you deactivate the recent plugins you purchased/activated – that might solve the issue.
If not, I am afraid to tell you that you will have to go one by one until the issue is resolved.

Woocommerce just had 4.9.0 update – are you running any old plugins? It is better to get rid of them if they have not had an update for 2 years or more.

    Hi,

I’m facing this issue starting 01/27 again. I’m using the latest version of WordPress and WooCommerce. It happens on 2 sites that I have and I’ve tried clearing cache, disabling all plugins as well as changing themes as well. Can you please help!!!! Its urgent and customers are understandably furious because of this.

    Thanks,
    RLD
