Random posts?

Hi,

Is there a parameter to randomise the posts that appear through the shortcode?

I’m using it to show products related to an industry using custom taxonomies. There are many products for an industry but it will always show the first 8 that were given that industry. I’d like have a random selection of products each time the page is reloaded. Could this possibly be done in the next update if not available now?
