Random Order for “Genesis Block Post and Page Grid”?

    Is it possible when using the “Genesis Block Post and Page Grid” block to have random posts get displayed instead of based on an alphabetical or new/oldest order?

  • @anth0ny No, this isn’t possible at the moment. It’s good suggestion though –?I’ll keep an eye out to see how much of a demand there is for it. We’ve got a pretty heft roadmap of requested features to work through at the moment.

    I have requested this before and also vote for that request here.

    I’d like to throw my name in the hat for additional “order_by” options on this block, with a particular emphasis on “menu_order” so that I have complete control over what shows up simply by dragging-dropping posts in the Dashboard.

    I was trying to implement grid with random posts as well, so I would vote for it!
