Random number generation

  • Hi is there a facility to generate a random unique number to populate a field on form submission?

    The number would need to be 5 to 6 digit long, random and not exist in the database.

    Similarly a check to see if a record already exists for the data being submitted would be good to prevent duplicate entries. Instead of a new number being generated, a retrieval of the previous issued number should be displayed.

    Is this possible with the plugin?
