Random links being created and showing up in back link profile

  • Hi, while analyzing my backlink profile for a few of my websites I noticed that a few of my domains are creating random links that look like this:

    domain.com?epl=5q5VOR—
    [Random code removed.]

    There are literally hundreds of these random links being created and they are all just copies of the home page with ?epl=blahblahblah after it.

    The links are showing up in majesticseo which is how i know they are there.

    Why is this happening? I think an easy solution would be to somehow make all links that I didn’t create go to a 404. Do you guys think that would be the best solution? Is there a plugin that would allow me to do that?
