Random images with alt text

Firstly I’m a real word press newbie!

I’m trying to display a random image in my sidebar that also returns the alt text details of the individual image.

I was hoping to use the Hot random image plug-in widget but this shows the same alt text details for all images returned. (My limited vision/blind clients do not like the same text for every picture!!!)

Can any one recommend a more appropriate (and cheap!) plug in??

Alternatively, what script could I put in my child css file? (nb. I am a real beginner if I were to go down this line!!)
