Random Hard Returns in Body Copy of Columns

  • This seems to mostly be a problem with this page, but across our other performance pages it occasionally comes up.

    In WP Bakery, in the columns feature, we have come copy that, upon resizing the browser window, has random, unnecessary hard returns (in the page linked, it’s in the “Cast” section under some of the performer’s bios. For example, in David Blalock’s section, “La” and “Traviata” sometimes has a weird return, as well as “the” and “Macbeths”).

    I’ve looked into the ‘text’ section of these sections where the copy’s code is and haven’t found anything out of the ordinary that would cause this.

    Has anyone else come across this problem / have a solution?

    Are you referring to WPBakery Page Builder?

    Forum volunteers are also not given access to commercial products, so they would not know why your commercial theme or plugin is not working properly. This is one other reason why volunteers forward you to the commercial product’s vendors. The vendors are responsible for supporting their commercial product.

    You have non-breaking space ( ) characters in your text:

    Replace them with normal space, and browsers will wrap the text properly.

    @t-p how come? @madop has mentioned that he is facing a problem with “random, unnecessary hard returns”. Those are caused by NBSP characters in his text, and the attached screenshot just shows that.

    Side note to @ashutosharma97 ,
    I’m talking about two photos: one photo of a male by name David, and the other one of a woman by name keely.

    What these two photos of “david” and “keely” doing in your reply?

    Just add the screenshot showing the code as u have done, but please get rid of those two photos. I dont see how they are relevant.

    @t-p screenshot just shows what’s on the website, not sure how it is an issue. And I can’t edit my comment anyway, there is no option to do that.

    @ashutosharma97 Is there a way to replace them with regular spaces without manually changing each one? I don’t see any of that on any of my WP editors — backend, frontend, Gutenberg.
