Random functionality

Hey everybody,

I’m deeply sorry if I missed another thread about the same topic, but I didnt find one which fitted my needs or my question.

I’m not sure if something on my page broke the functionality but that doesnt make too much sense, so my problem is:

If you have like 20 jobs, and the sort_by=random-option activated and in the joblist only ten per page via pagination, the system doesn’t really shuffle ALL jobs and then creates the pagination but the other way around. as far a I can see it the shuffle function is only per page.

is that normal and where (how :D) to hook a function to change this behaviour?
