random content and permalink while creating a product

  • No idea on whats going on – just tried to create a new product. Strange things are happening – after saving the product the displayed permalink changes to some random other product link (Title remains as I entered it), short description text changes to some text of yet an other product and the sku changes to – so instead that i save the product, i refresh the page and now short description, sku and permalink have changed once again

    I’m not sure but is there a possibility that 4.2.2 is the cause for this issue ?

    Update – looks like Visual Composer is causing the issue(at least for some Part). If I hit edit on published products – exactly the same thing happens until i switch of VC. Did not see that happening before Wp 4.2.2.

    I have the same issue. My VC is up to date, but I am on an older version of WordPress with Woocommerce. Same thing here. Been baffled by this for about a month since updating VC to the newest version.

    What happens with me is that when I create a product without a shipping weight then the permalink doesn’t get randomized. When I add a shipping weight, both the permalink and weight randomize! The only way I have managed to have the weight and the permalink save as I need them so far is to not have any numbers in the permalink. No numbers in the permalink seems to keep the weight as I need it to be and the permalink to not randomize.
