Random characters (like ? a) popping up on my pages

  • During the creation of my webpage, random characters that look like this ( ? a) has been popping up on my webpages. Can you explain why this is?

  • It’s possible the Dashicons font is not loading properly. The next time it happens, press the F12 button and click on “Console” to see if any error messages are there.

    Tried F12 and Console… there wasn’t an error message. It was a blank box.

    Where are you seeing these characters? Front end? Back end? Admin bar? Post content?
