Random characters are added in the URL

  • I set-up a new blog using WordPress but later i found that some random characters and hash tags are getting added up in the URL. For e.g.: #.Ussia3lpo0M

    I disabled all the plugins and tried but still i appears. Because many people got the same problem only by using AddThis plugin.

    Only if I change my permalinks to default it doesn’t appear.

    Can anyone help me to fix this problem.

    Try reading Using_Permalinks before setting a custom permalink structure again.

    I am not setting a custom permalink,

    just i tried the above step to find out why it happens.

    Have you tried:
    – deactivating ALL plugins temporarily to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate them individually (one-by-one) to find the problematic plugin(s).
    – switching to the unedited default, core-bundled Theme (such as Twenty Twelve, Twenty Thirteen or Twenty Fourteen) for a moment using the WP dashboard to rule out any theme-specific issue.
