    I just posted a new message in my website, and all of a sudden all messages below it (and half the page) has gone bold. I have added nothing new in terms of plugins, etc., since posting previously without any problems…any help would be much appreciated!

  • Try validating your page. It’s most likely a tag in one of your posts/comments that isn’t being closed properly.

    Hey Naz, looks like it’s your lot to help me out with these things, eh? ?? Many thanks as always. However, since I am still a newbie on all of this…validating brought back four errors, but I must admit to having no idea how to fix them. To begin with, I’m not even sure what document within my page they’re referring to. I’d be grateful for any further assistance…

    The website URL is https://www.furtherreview.net, btw.

    The validation errors aren’t the problem in this case.

    But your top 2 posts end with a bogus <strong /> tag, which I think are the culprit. Try removing that from those 2 posts.

    by the way, the validation errors are from the podcast piece in the second post.

    Looks like we’re getting there….I’ve fixed the second post. But the third post doesn’t seem to have that bogus /strong tag…? Where did you find that…?

    As for the podcast errors, not sure what to do about those. They are downloading and functioning fine in about six different aggregators and every web browser I can think of to test them, not to mention three different computers and three different IPs, so I think I may have to let those go for now.

    Never mind, I found the offending areas and have fixed them…not sure why the site took this opportunity to do this to the other posts, but as long as it’s fixed now! Thanks, Naz, you’re a lifesaver. Any thoughts about what the podcast errors are coming from? They don’t seem to be causing any issues at present, but I’d like to keep it in mind for future.

    Thanks again!

    I don’t see anything obvious. It could be the ’empty’ strong behind X-Men III in your second post:
    <strong><br />
    </strong>

    And about validation. When you try to work with objects, it’s hard to get validation right, while still having something work. So, as you said, just ignore them in that post.

    Thanks for everything, as usual. I’m not a big fan of your working with the Dark Lord, but for one of the former nine kings of men you’re extremely helpful. ??

    Thanks!
